Removing a Notion integration clears its synced pages
Disconnect Notion from a project or your organization and the pages it brought in leave the project's assets and search results with it.
You disconnect a Notion integration, and the pages it had synced stayed behind in the project. Members kept finding and citing content from a workspace the project no longer had access to, and re-connecting later brought in a duplicate copy of every page.
Pages leave with the integration
Remove a Notion integration from a project, or disconnect it from your organization, and Chief deletes the pages that integration synced into that project. They disappear from the project's assets and stop appearing in search and citations.
Clean re-connection
Reconnect the same Notion workspace afterwards and you get one copy of each page, not a second set stacked on the first.
Other projects untouched
If you connect Notion to a project again right after removing it, the cleanup only covers the pages the removed integration brought in. Anything your new connection has already synced stays in place.
Nothing to change on your side: disconnecting Notion now leaves the project in the state you would expect.
