Keep the prompt bar readable in a narrow window
The prompt bar controls now stay on one line at any window width, and a chat scope with an asset that can no longer load stops showing a spinner that never clears.
You shrink the browser window while working in a chat, and the prompt bar controls climb over each other. Or you open an older chat and the prompt bar sits on "Powering this chat" forever, with Send locked. Both are fixed.
Prompt bar at narrow widths
The intelligence control used to hold its full width no matter how narrow the window got, so it painted over the word count and the credit indicator next to it.
Every labelled control on the row now gives up width and truncates as space runs out, reducing to icons before the row is squeezed. The prompt bar stays on one line however narrow you make the window.
Spinner on an unavailable file
When a file in your chat scope could no longer be loaded, the prompt bar read that as work still in progress. The chip spun with no end, and Send stayed blocked, while the Add to Chat panel showed the same scope as settled.
Chief now treats a file it cannot load as finished rather than pending. The spinner clears, Send opens back up, and the prompt bar agrees with the Add to Chat panel about what is still processing.
Files that are uploading or processing still show the spinner and still hold Send until they are ready.
