Move an ended Live Session to another project
Ran a session against the wrong project? You can now move ended sessions, along with their chats, transcripts and files, into the right one.
A Live Session used to belong to one project forever. If you started it against the wrong project, the session and everything attached to it stayed there.
Move to project
Open the actions menu on a session, or select sessions in the Live Sessions list, and choose Move to project. Pick the destination and confirm. The session leaves the current project and shows up in the one you picked.
Chats and files travel with it
The move takes the whole session with it, not just the entry in the list:
- chats started from the session
- the transcript
- documents and canvases
- files captured during the session
Who can move a session
You can move a session if you hosted it or you own the project holding it, and you need create rights in the destination. Destinations sit in the same organization as the source, so the project picker only shows those. A session that is still running cannot be moved; end it first.
After the move
Chief confirms how many sessions moved and offers a link straight to the destination project. If a destination turns you down on permissions, you get a message naming the project so you know who to ask for access.
Check your Live Sessions list for anything filed in the wrong place, and move it where it belongs.
