Delete the default Auto-apply Tags and undo Enhance in the tags editor

You can read the definition Chief uses for To-dos and Decisions, remove either one if it doesn't fit your work, and get your own wording back after Enhance rewrites it.

Chief starts every project with built-in Auto-apply Tags, but until now you couldn't see what they matched on or remove them from your list. Enhance could also rewrite your tag description with no way back to the sentence you typed.

Built-in tag definitions

Open To-dos or Decisions in the tags editor and the field shows the exact definition Chief uses to apply that tag. You can read it, copy it, or edit it. Once you write your own sentence, the tag matches what you wrote. Paste the original definition back and Chief goes back to applying the tag its own way.

Delete controls for defaults

Each row in your tags list now has a Delete control, including To-dos and Decisions. Remove a default you don't use and Chief stops offering it. Sessions that already carry the tag keep showing it.

A shorter default list

New projects start with two Auto-apply Tags, To-dos and Decisions. Context no longer appears in the list.

Undo after Enhance

After Enhance finishes rewriting your tag description, a backwards arrow appears beside it. Click the arrow to restore the sentence you wrote. You also have more room to describe an Auto-apply Tag, since the description field now accepts longer text.

Editor wording

The toggle in the tag editor now reads "Automatically apply this tag", and each row in the list shows an Auto-apply pill, so you can see at a glance which tags Chief applies for you.

Open the tags editor to review the built-in definitions and keep only the tags that match how you work.
