Export from one menu, pick a project, jump to new insights
Live Sessions give you a single menu per section for sharing and exporting, a project picker for chats you start mid-meeting, and a way to reach summary insights the moment they land.
You have been hunting between two split buttons to copy a transcript, watching mid-meeting chats land in the session's project whether they belonged there or not, and guessing from a shrinking scrollbar whether a new insight had arrived. Three changes to Live Sessions address all of that.
One menu per section
Each Live Session section now carries a single "⋯" button instead of separate copy and download triggers. Open it and you get Share at the top, then the copy formats, then the download formats.
Share opens the same sharing dialog you already use. Copy offers Markdown and Rich Text, and download offers Markdown, Text, and DOC. Transcript images stay viewable in whatever you copy or download, so a pasted transcript does not arrive with broken pictures.
The check mark that confirms a copy is now announced to screen readers rather than shown only as a swapped icon.
Project picker for session chats
Starting a New chat from the Chief app while a session runs used to file it under the session's project with no alternative. The Chat button in the session pill now shows a project picker next to the addressee and voice pickers, so a question that has nothing to do with the meeting can go where it belongs. The picker stays hidden when the session's organization has only one project to choose from.
A chat you file elsewhere becomes a plain chat in that project: it appears in that project's chat list, skips session-only tooling, and bills to that project, so its turns stay out of the session's credit tally. Follow-ups, tool approvals, and citation links keep working in the project you chose.
New insights button
The Summary column now follows insights as they arrive when you are already reading the newest ones. If you have scrolled up, the view holds still and a "New insights" pill appears at the bottom; click it to jump straight to what landed. Turning on reduced motion gives you an instant jump rather than a smooth scroll.
Switching sessions clears the pill and starts you at the top. Viewers of a shared session on the web see the summary settled, as before.
Open a running session in Chief to try the picker and the insights pill, and check the "⋯" on any transcript or summary the next time you need to hand one to someone.
