Live Session app v1.1.21: Highlight one passage without marking every copy
Highlights in the live transcript now mark only the passage you selected, mid-meeting offers say which connected system the work will land in, and the buttons in the session header line up as one set.
You highlight a line in the live transcript, and suddenly the same words light up in a dozen other places in the conversation. Clicking one of those stray marks opened a chat thread about a passage you never picked. This build fixes that, and gives Chief's mid-meeting offers a firmer footing.
Precise transcript highlights
A highlight used to be stored as text alone, so Chief marked every occurrence of those words across the session. A common word like "that" lit up the whole conversation, and each stray mark carried the original highlight's chat thread.
Chief now remembers where in the transcript you made the selection. Only the passage you dragged over gets marked, even when the same phrase appears twice in the same paragraph, and clicking a mark opens the thread that belongs to it. Highlights that cross several speaker blocks stay marked across all of them.
Offers grounded in your connections
During a live session, Chief offers work the room can accept mid-meeting. Chief now knows the full set of systems connected to your project, so a single Google connection registers Calendar, Drive and Contacts rather than collapsing into Gmail. You get offers to put a follow-up on your calendar or save a write-up to Drive instead of Chief quietly declining them.
Each offer names where the work will land, so the room agrees to the destination as much as the task. An offer aimed at a system you have not connected never reaches you, which saves you from accepting something that cannot run.
Chief also reads before it offers now, drawing on your project library, past chats and past live sessions, so an offer can point at a document or thread that already exists.
Fixes
The search button, the "+" button and the Dev button in the live session header were three different sizes and did not read as one row of controls. They now share the same height and corner radius, and the Dev button no longer grows away from the other two at a larger text size.
Install this build to get highlights that stay where you put them and offers you can act on.
