Live Session app v1.0.7: Highlight a transcript passage and ask Chief about it
You can select any passage of a live transcript, ask Chief a question about it, and get an answer in its own chat; the passage stays marked in the transcript so you can click back into that conversation, and the chat also appears in the session's Chats list on the web.
During a call, asking Chief about one thing someone said meant retyping or describing the line yourself before Chief knew which moment you meant.
Today, we're adding Highlight & Chat in the transcript.
Chat about a highlighted passage
Select any passage in the live transcript and a box opens under it, showing the text you highlighted and a field that reads "Ask about this… (Enter to send)". Type your question and press Enter, or click the send arrow, and Chief opens a chat on that passage and answers using the meeting context. Press Escape to close the box without asking.
The passage stays marked in the transcript after you ask. Click the marked text to open that chat again, labeled Highlight, at any point in the session.
These chats also show up in the session's Chats list when you open it in the web app, next to the chats started from suggested actions.
Highlight a line in your next session to try it. Starting a task from a meeting covers the other ways to put a call to work.
