Live Session app v1.0.3: Know before you record when credits run out
Chief now checks your credit balance before a live session starts and pauses recording if you run out mid-session, then picks up on its own once your balance is topped up.
Until now, you could start a live session with an empty credit balance and only find out something was wrong when nothing useful came back from it. This build puts that in front of you before you start talking.
Credit check before you start
Pick a project and Chief checks your organization's credit balance right away, before you write a brief. If the balance is empty, you see it there instead of after you have set everything up and started recording.
The same check runs when a live session starts, so a session on an empty balance begins paused rather than recording audio that cannot be processed.
Pausing and resuming on credits
If your balance runs out while a session is running, Chief pauses the session and tells you why, in plain wording rather than a raw error.
A paused session keeps watching for a top-up. Add credits to your organization and the session resumes on its own, with no need to stop and start again. You can also stop the session yourself while it is paused.
Fixes
Running out of credits mid-session used to be treated as passing noise, so the session kept recording while the work behind it quietly failed. Chief now recognizes that specific failure and pauses instead.
Install this build if you share a credit balance with other people in your organization, since it is the difference between a session that tells you it stopped and one that looks fine while producing nothing.
