Copy and export answers that match what you see

Text you copy from an artifact or answer, and decks you send to Google Slides, now come out looking the way they do on screen.

You copy an answer to paste into an email, or send a deck to Google Slides, and the result needs fixing before you can use it: stray citation tokens in the text, paragraphs jammed together, missing column labels.

Citation markers out of exports

Downloading an answer or report as a Word document, or copying it as text, used to print a raw marker like asset_x_cxp_3 next to every claim grounded in a source. Those markers are gone from the download and the copy, matching what you read on screen.

Paragraph spacing in copied artifacts

Copying an artifact after editing it ran the paragraphs together, so a two paragraph quote pasted as one run of text. Copying now separates blocks with a blank line whether you copy while reading, while editing, or after saving an edit, and it leaves the citation markers out in all three cases.

Code blocks in session notes

Adding a Chief document with a fenced code block to a live session reported the document as empty and pushed nothing into the transcript. The code now goes in with the rest of the text, and a document mixing prose and code keeps both.

Table headers in Google Slides

Exporting a generated deck to Google Slides dropped the column labels off its tables, leaving the first row of data at the top with nothing naming each column. Exported tables now carry their header row, the same as the deck in the app and its PDF.

Copy or export anything you already have and paste it where you need it. No cleanup step in between.
