See the right credit bonus when you top up on an annual plan
Annual plans now quote the same bonus credits you actually receive, and your plan's own credits get spent before any you bought on top.
If you pay for Chief yearly and buy extra credits, the number you were quoted did not always match the number that landed in your balance. Two things changed so the quote and the spending order match what you paid for.
Accurate top-up quotes on annual plans
The billing settings page and the confirmation after payment used to quote an annual Pro organization the monthly bonus rate, a smaller figure than the credits that arrived. Both surfaces now quote the annual rate, matching the pricing page and the credits that land in your balance.
The confirmation after checkout also waits until your plan details are ready before naming a figure, so the number you read there does not change afterwards.
Subscription credits spent first
An annual plan's credits used to sit untouched while Chief spent the credits you bought as a top-up. Since a yearly allocation expires a year after it arrives, you could lose credits you had already paid for while a smaller, later purchase survived.
Chief now spends your subscription's credits first and keeps purchased credits for last, so nothing expires while newer credits go first.
If you are on an annual plan, check the top-up field in billing settings: the credits quoted there are the credits you get.
