See role and project access changes without reloading

When an owner changes your role or the projects you can reach, your sidebar and permissions catch up on their own within about a second.

Until now, an owner could change your organization role or take away a project, and your open app would carry on as if nothing happened. A project you no longer had access to stayed in your sidebar, and your permissions on the project in front of you stayed as they were until you reloaded.

Live sidebar updates

An owner grants or removes project access, and your sidebar reflects it within a second. You no longer have to reload to find out what you can reach.

Role changes applied immediately

When an owner changes your organization-wide role, your project list refreshes on its own. Previously the change waited for a page reload or your next sign-in.

No flicker when access holds

Some access reaches you through more than one route, such as an organization-wide role or a shared email domain. If an owner removes your direct access to a project but one of those still admits you, the project stays put in your sidebar instead of disappearing and reappearing.

Nothing to turn on. If you administer an organization, changes you make now land on the member's screen while you are still on the page.
